Description
Get ready for an adventure in Northeast India, near the side of Jowai! Here, you’ll find the beautiful Phe Phe Falls that truly come to life during the rainy season. The sheer power of these falls is awe-inspiring, with the water cascading down in a magnificent display.
The trek to the top of the falls is a breeze – it’s almost flat and not too tiring. However, be cautious when you reach the top; there are deep holes in the riverbed that can be risky, especially for kids.
To reach the bottom of the falls, there’s a 100-meter slope with steps. During the rainy season, these steps can get a bit slippery, so watch your step. But the feeling as you approach the falls is special; it grows before your eyes as you get closer.
Now, a heads-up: the road to the parking area is unpaved and often in bad condition, especially in the rainy season. There aren’t many signs to guide you, but all the challenges will be worth it once you witness the sheer beauty of the Phe Phe Falls.
